Well at Least I Don't Have to Walk in the Rain.

AF muscled her way through the progesterone and is having a party in my panties right now.

No walk to the clinic in the rain.  No test to take.  No secret to keep.

On to try #6.  The last IUI.  No pressure or anything, right?

  1. Sorry it's not a positive, but hey, no blood test or walk in the rain, so yay. Let's look forward to success next month.

And how come only 6 IUIs? I just ask because we got pregnant on our 7th.

  11. Well shoot. There is a lot of pressure here on #6. I hope it works but if not, I am happy you have a plan, and I just hope you never have to use it. xo.

  14. Hi travelher and pufferfish - I'm sorry that this cycle didn't pan out. You posted a comment on my blog and asked a question on why we choose to skip clomid.

We went right to injections at the recommendation of our doctor. In their research, they have found that women over 35 are about 10% more likely to conceive while using clomid and about 20% more likely with injections. I'm 36 now - so we were comfortable jumping right in.

Good luck to you guys - I'm looking forward to following your journey.

    Take care!

  17. Travelher and Pufferfish said... I'm currently in what I coin my "Pretend I'm Madonna" workout phase. They are 2.5 hr workouts consisting of 90 min of yoga, 40 min of cardio, and weight lifting. I do this during the non-TWW and it balances out. I don't know where you live...but I could be your workout buddy! I'm in the EV.

you are my inspiration! i would so love to be your workout buddy, but i am kind of worried that your "pretend i am madona" workout would kill my 40lb-over-my-comfortable-weight, haven't-worked-out-pretty-much-ever, stress-eating self. we live in BK, but i am open to a venture to EV. let's talk... and if the madona plan is not right for me, perhaps we could find some other amusement. and maybe even coordinate our gals being home and all have dinner or somethin. or go for a big walk in prospect park! you can reach me at mulberrymail at gmail dot com
