This is my newest breastfeeding song which I swear I did not set out to make it sound like the dirtiest song ever....but when I sang it to Chicken I realized it was! Hee.
"Suck, suck and swallow
Don't bite it!
Just suck it!
Suck, suck and swallow
And you'll grow up big and strong
Yah!"
They are like hungry little animals when they breast feed. No matter how exhausted I am (and oh how I am especially since I've been sick now for...this is the 6th day) when I get them latched on and see their dark little eyes wide open, hear their little baby animal noises, the grunts and swallowing...well, it really is just about the best thing in the world.
I really do love breastfeeding them, even though sometimes I cry on top of their heads because I'm so tired of doing it over and over and over.
I am just waiting for the day when they consistently go 3 hours in between feeds and not the unpredictable hour and 1/2. Three hours. Ah, that would be nice.
But they are gaining weight and growing so big.
We are so happy.

They are so cute!!
They are adorable and that 3 hr time will come. {{{}}}
Ok, that does soound like a naughty song. If you missed that initially then you are quite sleep deprived. I am sending hope that you will feel better soon and that the boys will be able to start taking a few longer breaks. They are lovely though!
It is amazing what one four hour stretch of sleep can do. I hope you get a longer break soon. Bfing while sick is exhausting. Those two are just the cutest in the world. I wish I could pinch their little toes.
Too funny. I justed posted about chunk eating every 3 hours and being exhausted! I can't even imagine how exhausted you are. Hang in there! I have been fighting a cold since Thursday and I can completely relate on the struggles!
Love te song! I just sang it to my partner! I've been singing to mine (to the tune of that American idol audition song "pants on the ground"): boob in the mouth, boob in the mouth, looking so cute with tha boob in your mouth"! ;-)
Ps. Beautiful pics!!
May I ask to what tune it is sung to
I used to sing a song about pooping to my son, but yeah, yours definitely has me beat in the "dirty" department. :)
Hang in there with the breastfeeding... it will get muuuuch easier! It seemed like every 3 months things got much easier, and by the time I hit 12 months I actually enjoyed it enough not to wean. :)
Your boys are SO precious. You should feel proud of yourself for breast feeding like a champ. Keep up the good work. :)
They are so darn cute and that 3 hour block between feeding will come.... Lovethe song by the way! I used to make up little songs to sing to my kiddos and they usually didn't make any sense at all due to the massive lack of sleep and brain running on fumes! You are doing so amazing!
Hello! I've decided it better to introduce myself rather than stalk your page silently. Please, go read the introduction I've put on my blog. Have a great day! -Mel
Your boys are absolutely adorable! those are the sweetest pictures.
That song makes me feel dirty ;)
Those boys are getting so big!
I cannot wait to breastfeed... Seriously, I have awesome breasts, and I cannot wait until they sag and pull and turn into chew toys! I just think it is one of the coolest things you can do with your body...
And they are just beautiful!
