Conversations in Pineapple Land

"Thanks for cutting up the pineapple baby, you did a great job!"
Takes bite, super juicy, yum...realizes this pineapple is too yummy because there is no core.

"You didn't keep the core?"
"You need the core?  I didn't know you needed the core??"
"Babe, you did.  I always eat the pineapple with the core."
"But I thought that was just when you were trying to get pregnant?"
"Um, I AM still trying to get pregnant!"
"Oh.....right."

I love Chicken, but I need to remind her transfer does not equal pregnancy.

I have now been served a separate plate of pineapple core only.  That should taste great.

PS--Bed rest/taking it easy sucks and I am a horrible patient.

You two are so cute! I've often wished I had the skill of the Thai pineapple vendors. They cut that fruit so perfectly with all the little thorns out.

We are eating lots of pineapple and core around these parts as well.

Sorry about the bed rest sucking. I completely go stir crazy when forced to sit still for any amount of time. Hope you have lots of good books and movies to keep you entertained.

Bed rest was a total PITA. You're almost done with that part, right?

Also last time I posted, my word verification "word" was mychik. Appropriate, no?

I hate bedrest. I had surgery a few months ago, and I managed to slip past my partner to do some gardening while she was in the bathroom. She never lets me forget it.

I'm on bedrest too and yes, it sucks...I hope your bed stay is faster than mine!!!

I know you are the uber active type so I'm sending all my best rest made easy baby dust vibes!

How can bedrest be bad when you have the hillarious antics of Chicken to keep you entertained? When I was visiting my grandmother last month, she asked me to cut up a pineapple she'd just bought at the grocery store. I cut up about half of it with the core before I realized what I was doing. Once I removed the core, I couldn't bring myself to throw it away, so I ate the core on it's own. Not so tasty.

Poor Puffer, I bet bed rest does not agree with you at all. Just a little longer and you will be back to your run around ways.

I have never been able to get the core down so I just chew on it like a sugar cane and then throw it out. Not sure if you get the same benefits that way but i did it the cycle I got my bfp so...

Stick embies, stick!!!

I was a terrible bed rest patient as well. Take comfort that many RE's think it is unnecessary and let yourself get up once in a while.

Just catching up on your last few days. Here are the things I have to say: 1. Happy birthday birthday almost-twin-except-for-ten-years-and-one-day! 2. Chicken rules. 3. SO SO AWESOME that you had such a fantastic excuse to not go to the party. 4. 60%?!?!? Holy crap, that is awesome. 5. This weekend better hurry the eff up because I can NOT wait to hear the results.

I am loving the Chronicles of Chicken - great stuff lol And yes bed rest surely does suck but hopefully it's going to pay off in a big way!

Does a plate of only pineapple core have the consistency of bamboo? That is what I imagine. Why can't the core be yummy and soft also (total whining on my part). You are brave to tackle the middle part all by itself.

How is your sanity at this point? For me, bedrest = intensely overactive obsessing. Hoping you are having a decent time with the chicken. I love the egg mcmuffin idea!
