We are the Champions!
Take that "MY FRIENDS"!
Who am I kidding, of course I stayed awake to watch.
You know what was really cool? Hearing my NYC neighborhood erupt in screams (this is with the windows closed) the exact moment they called it on the TV.
HOORAY! 8 failed. So did 11 (abortion ban in SD). Jury's still out on 4 (parental notification law in CA) but it's looking hopeful. FL and AZ can go screw themselves, I don't want to go there anyway (more gay marriage bans.) The tide is turning. Yes we DID. And the celebrations in Park Slope were tremendous.
